History
The Writer’s Garret has a surprisingly long history. Ten years ago (or so) It started as a forum for people to publish and share their own posts, art, photography, poetry, research, etc… Mind you, this was in the heady days before doing so was as easy as signing up for a WordPress account…and it required a ton of manual work just to get a new contribution posted.
Eventually life got in the way and the ‘Garret languished….people were still submitting content, but I couldn’t keep up with it. Recently I pulled the plug and started Writer’s Garret 2.0: a new site with a bias towards technical writing, content marketing, and content services.

PS: You can still see the old ‘Garret here. It resides on a server I can no longer access. I have no idea how long it will last. I need to put wget to use and archive it…but part of me wants to let old dogs lie where they may.
